【明報專訊】YESTERDAY the government released a consultation framework on subsidising home ownership. As it had become known, the government decided to keep the consultation exercise low-key. Though the government insists that it has taken no position on the issue, it is clear from the document how it is inclined. Furthermore, nothing in it shows it is the government's policy objective to find ways to straighten housing supply and demand out by means of the consultation exercise with a view to bringing about a healthy property market.
