【明報專訊】Last summer, I went inter-railing all over Europe with three other friends. Although reasonably popular for UK students, it is a rather unfamiliar idea in Hong Kong. We bought an inter-rail ticket (which allowed us to get on any train at any time in any European country for a specific time period), packed a huge rucksack (帆布背囊), and off we went! We thought we'd travel to Eastern Europe because it was more unconventional- we wanted to explore the "unknown". Spanning 10 countries in 16 days, that was the bud of my travel bug, one small reason that spurred (激發) my decision to take a gap year.
