【明報專訊】COMMERCIAL RADIO is to air a programme sponsored by the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB). The DAB being a political party, the deal should not be viewed purely as a commercial sponsorship. Commercial Radio uses the airwaves, which are a public asset. The deal has therefore to do with the public interest. The Broadcasting Authority should look into it with a view to preventing electronic media organisations operating on commercial principles from becoming wealthy political groups' publicity instrument.
