His decision to use his fortune to do society good instead of leaving his children any money best represents his care for people's hardships. It is most commendable that Mr Yu has made necessary arrangements to ensure that his charitable efforts will survive him. There is no lack of Hong Kong tycoons who are enthusiastic about philanthropic work. If they, like Mr Yu, try to make sure that their charitable efforts will continue after they have passed away, the world will become much better.
