【明報專訊】Chinese New Year, the most important traditional festival in Chinese culture, is only a little more than a week away. Every year, I would prepare the reunion dinner (團年飯) with my mother. And after the dinner, we would always have the glutinous rice balls (or tangyuan, 湯圓), which symbolise reunion and togetherness. During the holidays, we would make rounds of new-year visits and enjoy my all-time favourite-turnip pudding (蘿蔔糕).
