【明報專訊】THE annual Central Economic Work Conference closed the day before yesterday. Two matters in the communiqué of it are worth Hong Kong's attention. First, China will change the way its economy develops in the light of economic adjustments in the world and its own needs. The new way will persist not just one year but a long period. Second, the keynote of the 12th Five-Year Plan (FYP) was set at the conference. Hong Kong should positively participate in its formulation so that it will be better placed in the nation's overall economic planning and can use its strengths to help with its economic development, benefit from doing so and bring about a win-win situation.
