賣樓資料披露有改進 遺憾未設買樓冷靜期

【明報專訊】THE Real Estate Developers Association (REDA) has issued a revised set of guidelines on sales descriptions of uncompleted residential properties. According to the revised guidelines, no promotional materials should be included in any sales brochures. This is an improvement in the disclosing of information on uncompleted flats. However, if a prospective flat buyer wants to get a flat with a view or an orientation that pleases him, he must make on-site observations. He must also study the location plan and outline zoning plan of the development in question. Only if he does so can he avoid being misled by promotional materials and prevent the most important investment in his lifetime from becoming his lifelong regret.
