【明報專訊】A landslide that affected Redhill Peninsula, a luxury property estate on Hong Kong Island, in September last year has exposed the rampant issue of unauthorised structures in detached houses. Afterwards, the Buildings Department and the Lands Department conducted high-profile inspections and issued removal orders to dozens of detached house owners. Half a year has flown by, but most of the unauthorised structures remained unremoved. For some structures, there are even no signs of scaffolding being put up.
