【明報專訊】THE HONG KONG MONETARY AUTHORITY (HKMA) has entered into a cooperation agreement with the Bank of Thailand. Starting from the 4th of next month (December), Hong Kong's FPS and Thailand's faster payment system PromptPay will be linked up, making payment for shopping more convenient for tourists from the two regions. No doubt the tourism and retail industries stand to benefit from the agreement, which will also be positive news for boosting Hong Kong's development of the digital economy.
