【明報專訊】THE ASIA-PACIFIC ECONOMIC COOPERATION (APEC) meeting will be held in San Francisco, the US this month. The HKSAR government has confirmed that Financial Secretary Paul Chan will represent Hong Kong to attend the meeting. President Xi Jinping is also expected to go on the trip. The White House even said yesterday (1 November) that President Biden would meet with Xi in San Francisco. The US presidential election next year might pose uncertainties to Sino-US relations. If the relaxed atmosphere is maintained, more room for manoeuvre for Hong Kong-US relations can be expected.
