【明報專訊】Announcing air quality monitoring results, the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) has described the overall air quality in Hong Kong last year as the best in ten years. Still, the department has also admitted that one of the reasons for the improvement in air quality was the reduction in social and economic activities in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area under the pandemic. With economic activities in Hong Kong and the mainland fully resumed this year, the authorities should keep a close eye on changes in air quality.
