The Department of Justice (DOJ), which is against the Jimmy Lai's request to have a King's Counsel from the UK as his representative, has seen its appeal application rejected by the Court of Final Appeal. The SAR government has decided to invite the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) to interpret the law.
