【明報專訊】An MTR train derailed at Yau Ma Tei Station on the Tsuen Wan Line on Sunday (13 November), causing its train doors to come off. According to a preliminary investigation report submitted by the MTR yesterday (16 November), the incident was caused by the dislocation of a guardrail in the tunnel, which collided with the train. Not only has the incident raised concerns about the ageing and maintenance of railway facilities, but the arrangement in which the passengers were evacuated also shows a major issue with the MTR's handling of contingencies.
