【明報專訊】Hong Kong has embarked on the path to the reopening of borders and the return to normal. Strengthening the protection of the elderly and the young is a top priority at present. According to figures from the Department of Health, only around 70% of children between the age of 3 and 11 have received two doses. As for infants between half a year and 3 years old, the two-dose vaccination rate is even lower than 10%. Yesterday (12 October) the government announced that it had approved the emergency use of the paediatric and toddler formulation of the Comirnaty vaccine in Hong Kong, thus giving parents different options of COVID-19 vaccines.
