【明報專訊】THE government has announced a pilot programme to lift grassroots junior secondary school students out of intergenerational poverty (hereinafter referred to as the ''Strive and Rise Programme"). 2000 students will participate in the first phase of the programme. The emphasis of the whole scheme will be the pairing of these students with mentors and the provision of financial support.
