【明報專訊】In Zhengzhou, Henan Province, government officials turned the health codes of more than 1,000 citizens who had money disputes with banks into red to prevent them from challenging the banks in person. After the incident was brought to light, it caused an uproar across the country. With strict anti-epidemic measures in place across the country, every citizen's freedom of movement is restricted to varying degrees. When government officials exercise their power over the health code so arbitrarily, the public is worried whether there are other officials who are manipulating the health code to advance agendas other than pandemic prevention.
