【明報專訊】SOME PEOPLE have chosen to move overseas, and some, to the Greater Bay Area. According to the Consumer Council, the number of complaints about property sales outside Hong Kong increased sharply in the first eight months of this year. Many of them involved unlicensed property agencies, and the unscrupulous business practices were various. There have been misleading and untruthful advertisements, outdated sales brochures, vague disclaimers and Japanese properties being pitched by people who do not speak Japanese among all sorts of irregular practices.
