【明報專訊】On a rare autumn day when typhoon Lion Rock hit, many of us were stuck at home. Following a futile afternoon struggling with disrupted internet, my neighbours and I called it a day. We pooled food from our fridges, cooked up some seaweed soup and huddled around a hotpot. Between babies' coos and paw attacks from hungry dogs, we chatted about everything from sports injury to the latest book to discounts at Japan Home Centre. The scene must have embodied all the very elements of cosiness.
