Edgar Cheung Ka-long, a fencer, fought with greater and greater gusto and has won a gold medal in the men's individual foil event. This is Hong Kong's first Olympic gold since the handover and the second after the 1996 success of Lee Lai-shan, the ''Queen of the wind''.
