Mona's Musings : Pockets of grief
文章日期:2021年3月8日

【明報專訊】Grief is tricky to articulate and to receive. I think of people as moles, or meerkats, each with an intricate underground burrow system that leads to different pockets of comfort, inhabited by people we trust for a range of reasons. Depending on what life throws at us, we find our solutions in different pockets. As the burrow system sees us through the most vulnerable times, the moments spent in these "support pockets" are often some of the most personal and memorable. Communicating grief will require recounting these moments in detail, in order to anchor our overwhelming emotions.
