【明報專訊】Writing is liberating when you get to give free rein to your feelings and ideas and write what you want to write about. An IELTS examination, however, is not an occasion for extemporisation (即席揮毫). Writing a task 2 answer is a regimented (死板的) thing to do, and you have to follow a standard structure. If you try to be experimental, you will do so at your own peril.
