【明報專訊】The other day I found a copy of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator lying on my son Charlie's bed. Charlie mentioned the book to me a few days before as being one he had found on a bookshelf in his classroom that he especially liked. I asked him whether he had permission to borrow the book and he mumbled something unintelligible which probably meant he did not. I decided not to press him on it and told him to return the book to the classroom library once he finished it, which I knew he would.
