Containing China is the consensus of the Democratic and Republican parties. The difference between Trump and Biden lies in one thing only: the former pursues unilateralism, while the latter advocates multilateralism to curb China. Biden's criticism of Trump's tariffs on China does not mean that he will soften his stance towards China in other aspects.
