【明報專訊】THIS week the Legislative Council is to convene the last meeting of its term. Once again, the legislative chamber has been forced to adjourn, a matter of routine in this day and age. Some people's careers as lawmakers are drawing to an end, while the others are setting their sights on the Legislative Council elections in September already. The rules of procedure now give the president absolute leeway to decide when to resume a Legco session so that a meeting can be convened right away. However, if the "honourable" lawmakers have no intention of deliberating on matters, it will not be meaningful for a meeting to be revived unlimitedly.
