It is confirmed that Hong Kong is having a difficult time, and the question is how we can tide each other over. A local tycoon has pledged to offer support to restaurants. This, no doubt, is a good thing. However, given the dismal trade some of the affected businesses are doing, a tycoon's donation of several hundred million dollars is obviously inadequate to save them from the tempestuous business environment.
