【明報專訊】Yesterday (October 1) people on the mainland enjoyed festivities in perfect "harmony" as they celebrated the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the People's Republic of China. Our city, however, witnessed its most chaotic day in half a century. Violence exploded everywhere and left many areas deserted. In Tsuen Wan, a radical protester was shot with a live round and rushed to hospital. He was still in a critical condition after receiving emergency treatment.
