【明報專訊】A couple of days ago I was sipping a pint of Guinness in a pub on Chancery Lane, London, when the television was broadcasting the proceedings of the House of Commons in which John Bercow, the Speaker, refused to allow Theresa May, the Prime Minister, to table her Brexit Plan for another vote. People in the pub roared as they were immediately stunned by the possible political ramifications inflicted by the Speaker's bombshell given the Brexit deadline, 29 March, is just looming wickedly at the corner. I was stunned too but for a slightly different reason.
