【明報專訊】THE Planning Department has suggested rezoning five pieces of land at Tuen Mun to build public housing. The proposal, however, has met with massive political resistance at local level. Yesterday the Town Planning Board discussed an outline zoning plan at Tuen Mun, during which Terry Yip Man-pan, a district councillor from the DAB, staged a demonstration together with a group of private flat residents, demanding that the plan to build public housing on a piece of vacant land on Hang Fu Street, Tuen Mun, be shelved.
