【明報專訊】Every time I walk past the wet market near Central, it breaks my heart a little to see a familiar community receding into the background, giving way to developments that are too expensive and impractical for anyone to enjoy. Tall scaffolds forewarn us of the arrival of more skyscrapers that will block out the sun which the pedestrians enjoy. Low-rises and lively stalls will soon become history.
