【明報專訊】Kyoto, with all the historical and architectural gems it had to offer, never got along very well with me. I found the people too discrete, the city too slow and cryptic. Kyoto accepted me as an onlooker, who admired its beauty from afar. Yet, she never had the intention to show me the essence of life that really shapes a city.
