【明報專訊】IT is extremely likely that "Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era" will be enshrined into the constitution of the Communist Party of China (CPC). This will make Xi Jinping the second CPC leader (the first being Mao Zedong) to have a school of thought named after himself during his reign. It is now certain that China has entered the era of Xi Jinping. Over the past years, Xi Jinping's achievements in boosting the economy, addressing poverty, rooting out corruption and promoting clean government have been widely recognised. This makes one hopeful about the next five years when the country forges on.
