【明報專訊】Dear readers, my name is Chun-long. I am a Hongkonger and Coryphée at Hong Kong Ballet. As ballet dancing is often typecast as an art for girls, some of you might want to know what led me to take this path. Well, my story began in my primary school days when my younger sister joined a Chinese folk dance class. As I thought dancing was just for girls, I always had to wait patiently waited for her to finish her practice. Her teacher noticed how well-behaved I was and decided to invite me to join in the fun. As I was tired of being bored out of my wits, I pranced and "danced" my way into the practice room.
