The important political event that is to take place this October is the 6th Plenum of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC). It was decided last week at a meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee that the theme of the 6th Plenum should be "to find ways to deal with serious problems of the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party".
