AV Weekly : A rising band perished

Viola Beach, comprising young musicians Kris Leonard, River Reeves, Jack Dakin and Tomas Lowe, aged between 19 and 27, was a rising indie rock band in the UK. Misfortune fell upon them after their performance at the Where's The Music? Festival in Sweden. Together with their manager Craig Tarry, 32, the four young men were on their way back to the UK for another gig scheduled for February 13. Travelling on a highway bridge near Stockholm, the car plunged more than 25 metres into a canal, killing all of them.
