【明報專訊】By the time this article is published, we will be held spellbound either by the excitement of Hong Kong's rare snowfall, or by the disappointment brought by its absence. Apart from the alleged snowfall in 1893, which only existed in verbal circulation, no visual evidence has ever denoted such a phenomenon in our city. Still, the sheer mention of snow brings back some of my fondest memories of hiking the Scottish Highlands, which I feel an urge to share.
