【明報專訊】For people of my generation, Pokémon (寵物小精靈) has to be a collective memory. When lead character Pikachu (比卡超) - a yellow, chubby rodent - first appeared on TVB in 1998, it swept the student population like no other anime. Pokémon features the journey of Ash Ketchum (小智), a clumsy young boy aspiring to become the Pokémon master. Many would remember his hard-won friendship with the rebellious Pikachu, his heroic rescue of Charmander (小火龍) and his never-ending rivalry with Gary Oak (小茂). For a long while, even my mom was captured by the heart-warming episodes.
