【明報專訊】Over the last decade, Hong Kong has become the second largest art market after the US. The city is dotted with internationally renowned auction houses, entertaining collectors of different kinds with a variety of sales all year round. Live auctions fetching jaw-dropping prices remained an urban myth to me until recently, when I had to follow through an auction-related project. I had nothing to do with the big money, but had to attend the auction in person. The experience was eye-opening, for various reasons.
