【明報專訊】THE CENTRAL COMMITTEE of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has decided that former Central Military Commission (CMC) vice chairman Guo Boxiong (suspected of "illegalities and irregularities") be expelled from the party and handed over to the judiciary. Once mightily powerful, Guo was a "tiger in the military" worthy of the name. His downfall is one of the major victories Xi Jinping has won since he began to war against corruption in the wake of the 18th National Congress of the CPC.
