【明報專訊】A walkout staged by pro-establishment lawmakers brought much drama to the vote on the constitutional reform proposal. Then the pan-democrats banded together, and, in alliance with Leung Ka-lau, the medical sector representative, threw out the proposal with their 28 votes. As a result, the political system will remain as it is. Hong Kong citizens will not be able to elect the Chief Executive in 2017 in a "one person, one vote" fashion.
