【明報專訊】Hello Kitty is not a cat. She is now lotus seed buns, prawn dumplings, glutinous rice and steamed meat. The world's first and only Hello Kitty Chinese restaurant surprises not only Kitty-fanatics (狂熱者), but also people who, like me, are usually Kitty-apathetic (冷淡的). Greeted by their signature dim sums, I was convinced (信服) that Hello Kitty was designed to be a lotus seed bun right from the start. Garnished with ribbons, noses and eyes made with natural colourings, the mundane (平凡的) white buns spring to life and extract a due exclamation from any ready customer: so cute!
