【明報專訊】AN INDONESIAN MAID who once worked in the staff quarters of the Chinese University recently alleged that she had been kicked downstairs, grabbed by the neck, slapped in the face, and pulled by the ear by her employer. Shortly afterwards, it was reported in Indonesia that Erwiana, an Indonesian woman, had been seriously abused while working as a maid in Hong Kong. The sight, on television, of her physical condition was simply appalling.
