【明報專訊】It's my first month living in Los Angeles, and it's been a crash course in adulthood. LA is a city where not to have a car is not to leave the house, so the first thing I did on arrival was rent a car, lying to the car company that I had driven an American car and I had driven in America. For the first two days I drove hesitantly (躊躇地), having been used to the opposite side of the road in England, but by the third day I was on the freeway, taking my flatmate Ed to Compton to buy materials for his sculptures.
