【明報專訊】Andrew Carnegie, John D Rockefeller, Cornelius Vanderbilt, Henry Ford and J P Morgan rose from obscurity (籍籍無名) and in the process built modern America. Their names hang on street signs, are etched into (刻在) buildings and are parts of the fabric of history. They constructed a bold vision for a modern nation and shaped the greatest industries of our time: oil, rail, steel, shipping, automobiles and finance. We will look into how these men created modern America.
