【明報專訊】THE Moral and National Education subject introduced by the government is widely criticised as a tool for brainwashing students. Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying, his high-ranking officials, and the many honourable members of the new Executive Council have again and again declared that brainwashing is far from the government's intent. Now if the government wants to rid itself of the stigma of brainwashing, there is a recent case which is highly illustrative of our "national conditions" and should be used to demonstrate the teaching of National Education: the death of Hunan activist Li Wangyang and the relevant details.
