【明報專訊】The term "steamboat (汽船)" applies to any watercraft propelled (推進) by steam (蒸汽), but more narrowly refers to a shallow-draft paddle (槳) wheel steamboat widely used on rivers in the 19th century, and particularly on the Mississippi River and its principal tributaries(支流) in the United States.
