【明報專訊】The Artist (《星光夢裏人》) is currently the centre of attention in the movie-loving world. On top of the scores of trophies won internationally, the movie was named the Best Picture and collected other awards in four major categories on the Oscar night. The triumph of The Artist - a black-and-white tribute to Hollywood's silent era - created a stir of excitement in France, although French movies and actresses have previously been honoured at the Academy Awards. Responding to the success of Jean Dujardin, this year's best actor, President Sarkozy exclaimed, "Dazzling!"
