【明報專訊】The Help (《寫出友共鳴》) is adapted from Kathryn Stockett's 2009 novel, telling a great story tenderly. Directed by Tate Taylor, a childhood friend of Stockett, this production about the American South in the 1960s sees the earnestness Taylor brings to the project. Both of them are native Mississippians, having grown up in Jackson - a small town in Mississippi, where the story is set.
