【明報專訊】Music reviewers have likened Aloe Blacc, talked about in last week's AV Weekly, to Marvin Gaye, not known to many young music fans. Almost unanimously, critics have acclaimed Blacc as an heir to Marvin Gaye's soulful legacy. Good Things, Blacc's second album, is akin to Gaye's What's Going On in that both relate to real life hardships and social issues. Whether Blacc will prove an equivalent of Gaye, time will tell.
