【明報專訊】Mr Lau had served in the force for 30 years. It is believed that, on June 15, he slipped from a rain-soaked section and fell four metres onto a podium in Exchange Square, Central. He suffered serious head and chest injuries and was immediately hospitalised. He passed away after four hours of resuscitation (搶救).
