【明報專訊】The third day of the Inca Trail is known as the "Gringo killer". "Gringo" is a tongue-in-cheek (假意的) Spanish slang expression for addressing foreigners. It is called a killer because of the horrendous (可怕的) number of steps that are hardly wide enough for our feet to plant on. Slippery and uneven, they make this a dangerous and ankle-damaging route. Nonetheless, we had to power through to get to our final destination.
